Data Storage and Security

Your task data is stored both locally on your device and securely in the cloud to enable sync across your devices. We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Cloud data is stored using Supabase, a secure backend platform that provides encrypted data storage and transmission. All data is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS encryption.

If you use our sync features, your data will be stored on Supabase servers to enable cross-device synchronization.

Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you. These third-party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information.

Third-party services we use include:

  • Apple App Store - for app distribution and in-app purchases
  • Apple Analytics - for usage analytics
  • Supabase - for cloud data storage, user authentication, and cross-device sync
  • Sign in with Apple / Google - for authentication (if you choose to sign in with these services)

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. To delete your account:

  1. Open the TaskZero app
  2. Go to Settings (tap the gear icon)
  3. Scroll down to the Account section
  4. Tap "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed from our servers:

  • Your user account and authentication information
  • All tasks, tags, and steps you have created
  • Subscription records and history
  • Any other data associated with your account
